Rainwater Utilisation Systems
The complete Aquasource® system is a state of-the-art, modular rainwater utilisation system designed to reduce a household's dependence on mains water for non-drinking purposes. It uses rainwater as a first source and supplies it automatically to areas in the home that do not require potable or drinking water such as toilet flushing and laundry uses.
This innovative and reliable rainwater utilisation system supplements mains water, resulting in substantial and sustainable water savings. This in turn means savings on water bills. Aquasource® is a smart system that selects rainwater when available, returns to mains water instantaneously if the tank is empty and then reverts back when rainwater is present. The modular system consists of an above-ground, rainwater storage tank or tanks with a submersible pump, controller and interconnect valve. The controller and valve are housed on top of the tank, and the pump is placed inside the tank minimising noise. This reduces ground clutter and allows access around the unit and garden area.

Aquasource Controller
The Aquasource controller combines hydraulic and electronic components that detect water pressure and flow to supply water to the system on demand. It features a LED display panel that shows when the pump is running and when rainwater is available. The well-designed unit reduces the effect of water hammer, and when used with the Aquasource Interconnect Valve the controller is only supplied with electrical power when rainwater is available.
